Unnamed Premier League club make official bid for Christian Atsu.
Porto winger Christian Atsu, who has been linked with both Tottenham Hotspur and Everton this year, has been the subject of a transfer offer from an unnamed Premier League club.
The winger has been left out of the squad in recent months, due to the Ghanaian’s refusal to sign a new deal with the Portugese giants.
Sky Sports understands that the Primera Liga club will sit down at the end of the season to discuss the offer, and make a decision on the player’s future in the next month.
With Aaron Lennon reportedly subject to a move to Italian club Inter Milan, this offer may be seen as a replacement move by Spurs, as they look to strengthen their squad for Europe next season.
The 21-year old has only started nine games for the Portuguese club, scoring just one goal.
His electrifying pace and creativity is enough to attract the attention of at least one Premier League club however, as they look to bolster their attacking options for next season.
