Manchester City will try and poach Luis Suarez…

Premier League title contenders Manchester City sensationally plan on tempting Liverpool into selling the league’s best player, Luis Suarez, reports the Guardian.
The Uruguayan is practically a nailed on certainty to win the Premier League Player of the Year award, as he currently leads the goals chart with 29, and the assists chart with 11 – confirming his reputation as one of the very best players in world football.
Statistically, Suarez has actually enjoyed a better league campaign than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
If Liverpool beat West Ham at 4PM today, they’ll go back to the top of the Premier League table, but their rivals City want to make an astronomical offer for their best player in the summer.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers recently claimed that his star forward was worth over £100m, meaning it would likely take a world-record breaking transfer to secure his services.
Liverpool though would more than likely refuse any offer for Suarez, knowing that selling him to a domestic rival would drastically affect their chances of competing for top honours next year.
The Anfield club rejected a £40m plus £1 for Suarez from Arsenal last summer, despite the fact it activated his release clause, which if anything – confirms how nigh on impossible it will be for City to tempt Liverpool into selling at the end of the season.
If the impossible did happen of course, a City strike force of Suarez and Aguero would be regarded as one of the most devastating strike pairings in top flight history. Aguero has been injured for much of this season, but has still shone this term when he’s made it on to the pitch – and his potential partnership with Suarez will no doubt give Premier League defences sleepless nights.
Combined, the pair have notched 44 league goals this season already, having made just 42 combined starts.
