Extraordinary revelation from Juve director!
Manchester United star Radamel Falcao was “very close” to joining Juventus from AS Monaco in the summer transfer window, according to Goal.com.
The Colombian international attracted plenty of interest after making the decision to quit Monaco, with United eventually winning the race to sign him on a season-long loan.
Still, Falcao has been poor at Old Trafford, and Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has reponded to claims his side could try again to snap him up.
“Falcao was very close at that time,” Marotta said.
“But now he is in another situation: we will see what happens with him. Now it is too early to think about signing him because we are evaluating various opportunities.”
