United reach agreement for striker’s Old Trafford stay.
Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Radamel Falcao for the striker to complete a permanent move to the club next summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Red Devils brought in Falcao from AS Monaco on a season-long loan deal this term on transfer deadline day, and now have a deal in principle to ensure they keep the player next season.
It is still uncertain whether or not United will take up their option to buy the Colombian forward due to some concerns over his recent injury problems, but the club should now be in a good position to do so if they choose to keep him.
United have been keen to avoid a repeat of their failure to sign Carlos Tevez permanently after the Argentine spent two years on loan at Old Trafford before then making a shock switch to rivals Manchester City.
