Liverpool midfielder Nabil El Zhar has been released by the club and is expected to complete a free transfer to Spanish team Levante shortly.
El Zhar arrived at Anfield from Saint Etienne in 2006 widely touted as one to watch, but he failed to make the breakthrough on Merseyside.
He will now look to make the breakthrough elsewhere, having played just 32 times for Liverpool in five years.
Liverpool will not exactly struggle without El Zhar.
Their midfield is bursting at the seams, and Kenny Dalglish will reportedly listen to offers for any of Joe Cole, Alberto Aquilani, Christian Poulsen and Raul Meireles.
