- 31 Raheem Sterling (Moses – 76′ ) – 6
The flying winger caused the Tigers problems with his pace and direct running, and could have scored when one-on-one with the Hull keeper. His final ball was often lacking though, but this will no doubt come when he matures and improves.
- 07 Luis Suárez – 7
Wasn’t at his brilliant best, but that was partly down to the fact he was kicked and fouled on countless occasions by the Hull players. He did bag his 20th of the season with a delightful free-kick in the second half, that more or less secured the win for the Reds.
- 09 Iago Aspas (Gerrard – 62′ ) – 4
The Spaniard was given his first start since the third game of the season, but did nothing to suggest that he’ll be given any more in the near future. One nice lay off to Jordan Henderson in the first-half aside, he gave the ball away regularly, and looked totally off the pace.
