Reds set sights on impressive youngster in bargain deal.
Liverpool could be set to sign highly impressive Portuguese youngster Fabio Sturgeon this January after scouts were impressed by his performances, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 20-year-old, who has an English father, could be tempted by a move to the Premier League as he looks to further his career, with the Reds ready to pay his £2.4m asking price.
Sturgeon is already a first-team regular for Portuguese top flight side Belenenses and could slot in well as part of the first-team setup at Anfield.
Liverpool are known for keeping an eye out on impressive young players, and signed highly-rated defender Tiago Ilori from Sporting Lisbon last summer.
