Reds keen to bring Malaga star to Anfield for £3m
Liverpool are weighing up making an end-of-season swoop for Malaga midfield player Manuel Itarra, according to reports in the Daily Express.

The Reds head coach Brendan Rodgers is believed to be keen to bring more creative players to Anfield this summer as part of his continued rebuilding process on Merseyside, and his scouts have earmarked the Malaga playmaker as being the type of player who could fit the bill.
Itarra has enjoyed a decent campaign to date for the big-spending Liga outfit, playing 18 matches, although he has still to find the back of the net.
However, it is the relatively low price that the Merseysiders feel they can sign the playmaker for that makes him such an attractive acquisition, with Malaga said to be demanding as little as £3 million to secure Itarra’s services.
And with Malaga also presently under a financial cloud from Uefa due to the impending financial fair play regulations that are soon to be implemented, Liverpool look like they may be able to secure a bargain deal come the end of the season.
