Liverpool transfer news
Reports in Balotelli’s homeland on Saturday claimed the 24-year-old had contacted Inter Milan about potentially securing a loan move to the Serie A side in the upcoming transfer window.
However, Rodgers has underlined his desire to keep the striker at the club as he looks to stick with all of his major signings until the summer at least.
“It’s not something I have even thought about, to be honest,” he said.
“We’ve had a lot of games this season in a lot of competitions and, at this moment in time, the key for me is to keep this squad together.”
