Arsenal’s defence just isn’t the same without Laurent Koscielny, and Norwich City took advantage of an injury to the Frenchman to score a simple equaliser in their Premier League clash at Carrow Road.
Koscielny was substituted after only 11 minutes of the contest after landing awkwardly on his hip, and replacement Gabriel Paulista was caught out for Lewis Grabban’s goal on the stroke of half time.
The Brazilian was caught the wrong side of Grabban, and was then too easily held off by the striker, who calmly stroked home his first top-flight goal under Petr Cech to cancel out Mesut Ozil’s opener.

Grabban was making his first league start since the opening day of the season. He had been suspended for going absent without leave for the League Cup tie with Rotherham United, as The Guardian reports.
But now it is Koscielny who potentially faces a spell on the sidelines. With holding midfielder Francis Coquelin out for three months according to the Daily Mail, Arsenal’s spine is looking very vulnerable.
