Juve ready to ditch £27.5m asking price.
Manchester United may be able to avoid paying a transfer fee to sign long-time target Arturo Vidal, with Juventus ready to do a straight swap deal involving Juan Mata.
The Chilean international was strongly linked with United for much of the summer, with the Daily Express now claiming the Italian giants are ready to part ways with the player once valued at £52m.
It has recently been claimed that Vidal’s asking price has dropped to £27.5m, with Juve ready to take that or just a simple swap deal for Mata arriving from United.
The Spanish playmaker only joined the club from Chelsea last January, but is deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
