Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out a January departure for young defender Kurt Zouma, insisting that the Frenchman remains firmly in his plans, according to the Daily Express.

The Blues had been expected to send the 20-year-old out on loan for the remainder of the season in order to gain some valuable first team experience having failed to drive a wedge between John Terry and Gary Cahill.
However, today’s reports in France claim Jose Mourinho has no intention to let France Under-21 international leave.
Mourinho wants to keep him on board to use in their domestic cup campaigns, having already featured in Chelsea’s three successful Capital One Cup games already this term.
And with the beginning of the FA Cup on the horizon, Mourinho will be expecting to call on him once again.
