With the international break coming to a conclusion, there were numerous Premier League stars in action over the last fortnight who impressed for their respective countries.
Amongst those who featured was Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who scored for Wales as they celebrated their qualification for Euro 2016 in style on Tuesday night.
However, Ramsey wasn’t the only one to impress, with the likes of Willian and Kevin De Bruyne also enjoying a successful fortnight. Here is our round-up of how the representatives of the league’s top clubs got on:
Elsewhere for the Gunners, Santi Cazorla scored twice for Spain in their 4-0 win over Luxembourg, while Olivier Giroud also bagged a brace in France’s win over Denmark.
The goalscoring exploits didn’t end there as both Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were on the scoresheet for England against Estonia and Lithuania respectively.
Alexis Sanchez scored for Chile against Brazil last week, and then followed that up with two more goals and an assist in the 4-3 win over Peru as he now looks ahead to leading Arsene Wenger’s side title push.
