Falcons Cardinals preview
The Atlanta Falcons were forced to face the Arizona Cardinals without wide receiver Roddy White as he nursed an ankle injury, but they rose to the challenge as they upset them, 29-18.
Wide receivers Julio Jones and Harry Douglas each eclipsed 100 yards against a strong Cardinals defense, but White is expected to return for the Falcons’ Monday Night Football game against the Green Bay Packers.
The Falcons maintained control of first place in a weak NFC South as they have a 5-7 record, but they will be facing the hottest team in football. White will look to return to full form after having eight days to recover.
