The Miami Heat tied the series in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers, and now the defending champions will want to make the most of home court advantage.
Pacers star Paul George has been cleared to play after suffering from concussion last time out, but while he has cleared all the protocols, it remains to be seen whether or not his spell on the sidelines has effected him.
LeBron James revealed that he never expected his rival to miss out on Game 3, while the Heat could also receive a significant boost with Greg Oden declaring himself ready to play.
With Indiana dominating inside the paint in the first encounter, Oden will likely get minutes against Roy Hibbert in order to slow him down, and that is ultimately what the Heat brought him in for despite his injury woes.
Meanwhile, Wade is happy to hear that George will feature as he always wants to compete against the best, and it is likely to be another battle on Saturday night between two Eastern Conference giants.
Miami are 5-0 at home in the post-season and have won by an average of 10 points per game after shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor.
Looking back further, they have now won eight straight playoff games at the AA Arena and have gone 35-7 at home during the post-season since James joined the franchise.
However, they will be fully aware of the Pacers’ ability to cause an upset on the road, and it could well prove vital to this series for them protect their home court with the prospect of a possible decider in Indiana if the pair can’t be separated.
