Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has been sitting out for the past month due to a season-ending injury. He tore his Achilles tendon in September.
It has since been reported that Hall hurt himself while he was making pizza. Hall slipped on the floor while he was making the pizza, which made his Achilles injury worse and forced him to miss the rest of the season.
This will go down as one of the most ridiculous football injuries of all time, along with wide receiver Nate Burleson breaking his arm after trying to save a pizza sliding off his passenger seat.
Here is a tweet from SB Nation reporting on this silly injury.
