Dockers key forward kicks 600th career goal in his 300th game in the AFL.
Matthew Pavlich celebrated his 300th AFL match in style as Fremantle registered a 32-point win over Geelong at Subiaco Oval on Saturday night reports Back Page Lead.
The Dockers recovered from last week’s loss to Port Adelaide to trump the Cats 13.18 (96) to 9.10 (64), with Pavlich kicking three goals to mark his career milestone.
Fremantle led from beginning to last, racking up a five-goal lead at quarter-time, before kicking two more majors to lead by 30 points at the long interval.
Both sides exchanged three goals each in the third quarter.
Geelong fought back hard in the fourth quarter in an effort to make a game of it, but the Cats’ three goals was not enough to reverse the result.
Pavlich and Hayden Ballantyne both kicked three goals for Fremantle, while David Mundy led the possessions count with 34.
Tom Hawkins kicked a trio of goals for the Cats, while Joel Selwood notched 35 touches.
