The new Palace manager will inherit a well organised team
The abrupt departure of manager Tony Pulis didn’t seem to affect the organisation of Crystal Palace too much, with the Eagles showing all of the defensive solidity and determination that characterised their rise to 11th place in the Premier League table last season. The only disappointment for caretaker manager Keith Millen will be that they switched off twice at set pieces for the two goals, but from open play Palace were rarely troubled. Whoever the new manager is at Selhurst Park, he will inherit a well oiled machine.
