The Ukrainian was supposed to be the final piece of the jigsaw for Chelsea when he arrived for mega money back in 2006. He won the Ballon D’or in 2004, and was widely recognised as one of the best strikers on the planet. He never adapted to English football though, and eventually left to his native Ukraine having only scored nine league goals in three seasons.
