Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has largely been undisputed as the North London club’s number one since he broke through into the team, but with reserve stopper Lukasz Fabianski having departed to Swansea City, manager Arsene Wenger seems keen to bring in some serious competition for his man this summer. Here are five goalkeepers who would keep the Polish international on his toes.
1) David Ospina
Nice goalkeeper David Ospina has already been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer, with the Colombian international expected to move on from the Allianz Riviera stadium this summer. The 25 year-old stopper has made over 170 appearances for Nice since arriving from his hometown club Atletico Nacional in 2008, impressing with his reflexes and command of his area, with Ospina also having picked up over 40 caps for Colombia.
