Cech is out of favour having lost his place in the Blues’ first team to young Belgian Thibaut Courtois and is already being linked with a number of major European clubs, with Real joining Atletico Madrid and AS Roma in holding out an interest in the Czech stopper.
The Blues are known to have an interest in signing World Cup winner Khedira, who is out of contract at the end of the season, and could be willing to part with Cech if it was part of a deal that allowed them to land one of their key targets.
