The 22-year-old’s future with Dinamo has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months, and the Gunners’ Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham are also thought to have shown an interest.
Several sources in Turkey believe that Besiktas are leading the race to sign Croatian international, who joined Dinamo in 2012. However, the source adds that their reported interest could spark something of a bidding war.
Meanwhile, Dinamo boss Zdravko Mamic is determined to hang onto his prize asset, and has warned all of the interested parties that they’ll have to splash the cash in order to land the talented youngster.
He said: “We have no offers. If someone wants one of our key players, it can only be with a memorable bid, if they knock me off my feet. That is my principle. And the numbers appearing in the media do not interest us.”
