In response to Friday afternoon’s report from ESPN regarding the Ravens’ mishandling of the Ray Rice investigation – a mishandling which borders on cover-up – the Ravens said only that the report contains “numerous errors, inaccuracies, false assumptions and, perhaps, misunderstandings.”
However, the Ravens did not mention any specific errors, inaccuracies, false assumptions, or misunderstandings.
Speaking to the media in connection with the Ray Rice jersey exchange, in which more than 7,000 fans participated, Ravens spokesman Kevin Byrne said (via Rick Ritter of CBS Baltimore), “There are inaccuracies in the report. We’ve been transparent and will continue to be.”
