The Gunners are keeping tabs on Benzema.
Arsenal are looking to sign a new striker this summer and manager Arsene Wenger has given a huge hint he wants Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.
Wenger has admitted that too much reliance has been put on Olivier Giroud for scoring goals in 2013/14 and more support is needed in the final third.
The Gunners have been strongly linked with Benzema for some time, with the Frenchman about to enter the final year of his current deal at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Now the 64-year-old has revealed on French television that he thinks the forward will come and play in the Premier League.
Wenger on French TV #CLFinal : “Karim could play his last game for Real Madrid today, I’m sure he’ll play in PL one day.”

Benzema joined Madrid in 2009 for £30m from Olympique Lyon and it’s thought that the attacker would probably cost at least that this time around.
Los Blancos now have their eye on Liverpool top-scorer Luis Suarez and would be prepared to sell their France international in order to land the 27-year-old.
It’s well known that Wenger is an admirer of his fellow countryman and would want to sign Benzema as competition to Giroud at the Emirates Stadium
