7. Zakaria Bakkali
Another promising youngster who already looks ready to play for a top club is Zakaria Bakkali.
The PSV Eindhoven teenager scored a hat-trick against NEC Nijmegen on only his second Eredivisie appearance, overtaking Arjen Robben as the youngest player ever to manage a three goal haul in a match.
Still just 17 years of age, the striker recently earned his first call up to the Belgian national team, though had to withdraw due to injury.
He would be an exciting talent to bring off of the bench this season, and a brilliant prospect to lead the line in the future.
PSV have already admitted they may need to sell Bakkali should he not agree a new contract with the Dutch giants, and Arsenal will be monitoring the situation carefully.
8. Micah Richards
Manchester City defender Micah Richards has a number of qualities that would greatly aid Arsenal.
An impressive physical specimen, the England international is strong in the air and quick on the ground, and his ability to play both at right back and at centre half could be invaluable for the Gunners.
With Pablo Zabaleta fairly secure in his position on the right hand side of Man City’s defence, Richards may be considering a move elsewhere whilst he recovers from injury.
The Daily Mirror claim Arsenal have enquired about Richards’ availability, but whether Arsene Wenger will up his interest in the last two days of the transfer window remains to be seen.
