Arsenal youngster Gedion Zelalem is expected to complete his loan move to Rangers within the next 24 hours, according to reports in Scotland.
According to STV, the starlet will travel to Scotland and hold talks with the club over the next 24 hours with a view of joining on loan for the rest of the season.
The 18-year-old could be the third loanee to join Rangers in a week after coach Mark Warburton signed two players from Tottenham, and it is clear that his work isn’t done in north London.
Zelalem was handed his first-team debut by Arsene Wenger during the 2013-14 season, but naturally due to the competition for places, he was crowded out of the first-team squad.
Although he has featured during pre-season regularly in the past, it will not compare to the youngster getting first-team action and picking up experience along the way.
As a result, it is likely that Arsene Wenger will give the green light to the move and hope that he benefits from his spell in Scotland and returns with a view to pushing for a place in the first-team squad.
