Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen his striking options…
Arsenal are targeting Juventus forward Fernando Llorente to enhance their striking options, reports the Metro.
The Gunners are thought to be willing to pay the Spaniard’s £63,000 a week wages, despite him having a disappointing season so far.
Llorente has found himself behind both Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata in the pecking order under manager Massimiliano Allegri.
The former Athletic Bilbao man has scored just four goals in 19 appearances this season, and could be available for a relatively small transfer fee as a result.
The 29-year-old would be unlikely to knock Olivier Giroud out of the first team at the Emirates, but could offer some solid back up to the Frenchman. He is a similar type of player to the striker.
