Liverpool and Arsenal could be set for a transfer scramble this summer after Real Madrid star Iker Casillas revealed he wants to move on in the transfer window, the Daily Express reports.
The veteran stopper has been linked with an exit from the La Liga leaders for some time now, with both Liverpool and Arsenal looking to replace Wojciech Szczesny and Simon Mignolet respectively.
However, the Premier League pair could face some serious competition from clubs in Ligue 1 and the MLS.
Casillas himself has made no secret of his desire to one say ply his trade overseas, and with his career at Real now winding down this summer could represent the perfect time to move on.
“I’d love to have an experience abroad to bring more value to Real Madrid,” he sai.
“Madrid is my home. I’ll always feel this way. I was educated here and got my start here. I can’t understand my life without Real Madrid.
“I’d love to have an experience abroad to bring more value to Real Madrid, which already has incalculable value to me.”
