Liverpool also interested, but unlikely to bid.
North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are ready to launch bids for Alvaro Morata after Juventus offered £16m for the Real Madrid forward, according to The Express.
Juventus are apparently confident that their offer will be accepted, having included a £20m buy-back clause in their proposed deal.
However, the Gunners and Spurs have been watching the 21-year-old for 12 months and are unwilling to give up on him without a fight.
Morata was used sparingly by Real last season. He started just three La Liga games, featuring 20 times as a sub. He scored eight goals in the Spanish top flight.
Liverpool have also tracked Morata’s progress closely, but the Reds are not in a position to bid for him right not due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of Luis Suarez.
Morata has an incredible international goalscoring record. He has scored 13 times in 12 Under-21 appearances.
He netted 11 goals in 12 Under-19 games and three goals in two Under-19 outings.
