Big business will be done in the summer, claims Scottish boss…
Manchester United boss David Moyes doesn’t think he’ll be making any signings during the winter transfer window, reports the Mirror.
United lie five points off the top four, after their New year’s Day home defeat to Tottenham, and many fans have been crying out for reinforcements – especially in the midfield.
Moyes though reckons United’s big business will be done at the end of the season instead, despite the side’s current predicament.
“I don’t think so,” Moyes answered, when quizzed on potential January signings.
“I think most of the business will be more towards the summer rather than January.”
The news will no doubt infuriate supporters who have had to watch their side win last season’s title at a canter, only for them to fall to a number of embarrassing home defeats under the new boss. Many have now ruled them out of the title race, and a top four spot is probably the most they can hope for.
