Anfield forward will consider other options if Real don’t move fast.
Liverpool forward Luis Suarez reached ‘an agreement with Real Madrid several weeks ago’, according to Spanish daily Marca.
But the La Liga giants are still yet to agree a fee with the Anfield outfit for the Uruguayan and Marca – a media mouthpiece for Real – says the 26-year-old will begin to consider other options unless the Spanish runners-up agree to pay up fast.
Suarez scored 23 league goals in 33 Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season but has made no secret of his desire to leave Merseyside this summer, citing intrusion from the British press.
Real are reportedly fans of the former Ajax striker but, aided by Marca, Los Blancos are currently focussing their attentions on Tottenham superstar Gareth Bale.
With Uruguay set to play hosts Brazil in the Confederations Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening, Suarez could soon be free from international duty to consider his future in more detail.
