Celtic defender van Dijk has been linked with a January move to Arsenal to help solve the lack of defensive depth at the North London club, who have just Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker as senior central defenders.
Van Dijk was involved as Celtic beat Kilmarnock in the SPL this weekend and has impressed for Ronny Deila’s side so far despite their indifferent start.
He is quoted as saying:
“Arsenal are an amazing club. It’s a big club with a great history. I’m happy here just now and I want to play well and we’ll see what happens in the future.”
“Until there are bids I can’t say thing.”
