David Luiz happy at Chelsea despite speculation linking him with Barcelona and Manchester United.
Chelsea defender David Luiz has ruled out leaving the club this summer.
The Brazil international has been linked with a summer move to Barcelona, while reports last week claimed the Blues had offered the 26-year-old to Manchester United in part-exchange for striker Wayne Rooney.
The west London outfit later released a statement denying that Luiz, or playmaker Juan Mata, had been offered to United but speculation has continued about the former Benfica stopper’s future.
Luiz, however, has moved to put an end to the rumours, insisting he is happy at Stamford Bridge and does not want to talk to other clubs.
“I do not like the rumours about me and the possible departure,” Luiz told Brazilian newspaper O Globo.
“I have a contract with Chelsea until June 2017 and do not want to talk to other clubs.”
