Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will reportedly hold talks with manager Arsene Wenger at the end of the season to discuss his future at the club as the links with Chelsea stopper Petr Cech continue to grow, according to the Metro.
Reports in the Evening Standard claim that the Poland international has grown frustrated with life at the Emirates, having not made a first team appearance in the league since the 2-2 draw with Leicester on New Year’s Day – after which he was famously reprimanded for smoking in the showers.
And with his place with the Gunners increasingly uncertain, he has now begun to fear for his spot with the Polish national side, too.
Wenger has said to be happy with the 24-year-old’s attitude to being out of the picture, and will hold talks with the beleaguered custodian when the current campaign draws to a close.
The Gunners are still being linked with a move for Chelsea veteran Petr Cech, who this week confirmed that he will not be playing reserve to Thibaut Courtois again next term.
