George engages in conversation with courtside Wizards fan.
While the Indiana Pacers secured their place in the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday night with their Game 6 win over the Washington Wizards, Paul George became slightly sidetracked during the encounter.
With the Pacers leading by eight as the third quarter came to a close, George was seen jawing with a Wizards fan before being guided away from the situation by team-mate Evan Turner.
It isn’t the first time that a member of the Pacers roster has been cited for talking too much, with the likes of George and Lance Stephenson previously being accused of show-boating and generally being quite disrespectful to opponents.
Coach Frank Vogel and members of the team have suggested in recent times that they need to re-focus their minds on the game as they emerged from their end-of-season slump to advance beyond the Atlanta Hawks and Wizards, but it remains to be seen whether or not they can go one better this year and eliminate the two-time defending champions Miami next.
