Andy Murray cruised into the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters on Friday by beating Tomas Berdych in straight sets.
The British no.1, who has won this tournament twice – in 2010 and 2011 – totally outclassed Berdych, dispatching him 6-1 6-3 in 79 minutes.
Murray hit 25 winners, including this mesmerising drop shot, and just 14 unforced errors.
He broke serve four times and saved all three of the break points that he faced.
Murray will now take on world no.1 Novak Djokovic in the last four on Saturday, with the winner going on to meet Rafael Nadal or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Sunday’s final.
