Reports out of Italy are suggesting that AC Milan are keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch.
Corriere dello Sport report that Crouch is highly rated in Milan, after scoring against the club at the San Siro in the Champions League last season, a goal which effectively eliminated them from the tournament.
Question marks have also been raised over the fitness of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, after the Swedish striker appeared to be playing through the pain barrier when his team took on Malmo at the weekend.
That has led AC Manager Massimiliano Allegri keen to bolster his front line with another big forward, with Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli also in his thoughts.
The club had been looking into the option of bringing Balotelli in on loan, but now believe that deal to be too complicated to wrap up, and so are expected to press ahead with a bid to sign Crouch.
The Italian newspaper suggests a deal can be done for around £8m for the England international, and that Spurs will be willing to sell if they can complete the signing of Emmanuel Adebayor.
