Tottenham Hotspur are to offer Sebastian Bassong and Robbie Keane to Blackburn Rovers in an effort to entice Christopher Samba to the club, report the Daily Mail.
What’s more, as well as those two unwanted players, they will throw £6m in Blackburn’s direction as well.
Arsenal of course have been linked with Samba all summer, but the offer from Spurs may be difficult for Rovers to turn down.
In Bassong they would have a ready made replacement, while Keane could give them valuable impetus up front.
The £6m would also help to pay for a replacement for Phil Jones, who left Ewood Park for Manchester United earlier this summer.
