Ciprian Marica’s free transfer to Tottenham has collapsed according to the striker’s agent.
Marica, 27, has been linked with North London rivals Arsenal and Spurs after leaving Schalke at the end of last season and his agent Victor Becali claimed he could sign for Spurs within 48 hours on Monday.
But Becali has now admitted that the deal is off and says his client is in Madrid, negotiating with La Liga outfit Rayo Vallencano.
