Two key Tottenham Hotspur stars are the subject of reported transfer interest.
Tottenham Hotspur could be set for a nightmare January transfer window, if various recent reports from the sports media are to be believed, with two of the club’s most experienced and crucial players reportedly being lined up by some of the bigger Premier League fish.

The first of the players, Jan Vertonghen, would perhaps be less of a blow considering his patchy form so far this season, but the Belgian is still amongst the better defenders in the Premier League when he is on form and motivated, something that Mauricio Pochettino has been unable to achieve so far this season.
The Belgian international has been linked with a move to Liverpool in January, with the Reds keen to rectify the defensive transfer mistakes of the summer that saw them splash out eye-watering sums on the likes of Southampton star Dejan Lovren, who has failed to settle at Anfield.
The second player would be much more of a blow, however, with goalkeeper and stand-in captain Hugo Lloris linked with a January move to Manchester United as a replacement for young stopper David de Gea – if he is sold to Real Madrid as a replacement for Iker Casillas.
French international Lloris has been one of Spurs’ most consistent players since he moved to the Premier League from Ligue 1 giants Lyon – and losing him to a domestic rival would be a real body blow for Spurs.
