Given the narrowness of Arsenal’s play this season, Kieran Gibbs has had to provide both an attacking threat and continued his defensive work from left back.
The Gunners defender is a constant outlet on the left flank – similarly to Leighton Baines at Everton – and fully deserved his call up to the England squad.
Gibbs’ pace enables him to quickly get back into position when teams counterattack against Arsenal, and fans of the north London outfit are growing accustomed to seeing Gibbs take the ball from opposition players at will with impressive timing.
