Bizarre! Sociology course has a Ronaldo module.
Students reading Sociology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Canada can take a module in Cristiano Ronaldo, CaughtOffside reports.
The Real Madrid star is one of the finest players of his generation and appears to have done enough both on and off the pitch to inspire an entire module dedicated to his work.
Associate Professor Luis Aguiar, who came up with the idea, explained the reasoning behind it, saying: “What makes him special is that he has visibility beyond the football world. He has cultural appeal, he has sex appeal, he has influence in cultural looks and he takes very good care of himself.”
