After a year of gaining a reputation for being excessively short with his answers at media meeting and often outright skipping them, Lynch continued his habit by giving the same answer over and over again: “I’m just here so I won’t get fined… I’m just here so I won’t get fined… I’m just here so I won’t get fined” to each question that was asked.
ESPN’s Ed Werder later tweeted that the NFL has threatened him with a $500,000 fine if he refused to show up at Media Day the way he refused to talk to the media at Super Bowl XLVIII last year.

But after leaving only five minutes into the interview, it’s highly likely that the NFL will try to punish Beast Mode in some other way to teach him not to thumb his nose at them or the media that pays them a pretty penny for days like this.
In less than a year, Lynch has already accumulated over $200,000 in fines for failing to appear at events or refusing to answer questions.
