CK7 refutes report as he thanks fans for support on Twitter.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has insisted that a TMZ report that alleges he is possibly guilty of sexual assault is “completely wrong”.
The 26-year-old took to Twitter on Friday morning to address recent reports after an incident was filed with Miami police regarding an unnamed woman.
She claims to have had an encounter with Kaepernick, 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette on April 1 at the Viceroy hotel in downtown Miami.
It is alleged that she spent time with the trio as they drank and smoked marijuana in Lockette’s apartment, before eventually ending up in a bedroom with Kaepernick.
Following on, the woman claims that she later woke up at a hospital with no memory of how she arrived there and while a rape test was performed according to the Miami Herald, the results have not been made public.
TMZ.com reported that Kaepernick is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault, although Miami police have later insisted that there was “no evidence” of a sexual assault and that TMZ took the report “out of context”.
Further, there have been no arrests made and no charges have been filed, with Kaepernick now insisting that the report is untrue as he looks to ensure that he is cleared of any wrongdoing if the situation develops.
Both the 49ers and Seahawks have released statements, concluding that they will take into consideration all the facts and the truth when the investigation is completed before commenting on the matter further.
(1/3) The charges made in the TMZ story and other stories I’ve seen are completely wrong. They make things up about me that never happened.

(2/3) I take great pride in who I am and what I do, but I guess sometimes you have to deal with someone who makes things up.

(3/3) I want to thank all of the people who have shared their encouraging sentiments. I assure you that your faith is not misplaced.
