The Pittsburgh Steelers defense was gutted with injuries to cornerback Ike Taylor, inside linebacker Ryan Shazier and outside linebacker Jarvis Jones.
The Pittsburgh Steelers won against the Carolina Panthers, 37-19, in a physical match that claimed a few Steelers defensive players.
Cornerback Ike Taylor was taken out of the game with a broken arm, and rookie inside linebacker Ryan Shazier sprained his MCL while outside linebacker Jarvis Jones broke his wrist.
Taylor is expected to be headed to the injured reserve list but may be designated to return. Shazier will be out for at least a few weeks, and Jones is expected to be out indefinitely.
Here is a tweet from CBS NFL insider Jason La Canfora confirming these Steelers injuries.
