2. Chelsea
Who: Diego Costa, Didier Drogba, Loic Remy
Diego Costa’s arrival at Stamford Bridge came with some loaded questions. Could he do it in England? Could he do it in another system other than Diego Simeone’s? Could he do it on a wet Wednesday night in Sto…oh. Early indicators reveal that, yes, he can, but he still has a long way to go and the Premier League is much faster and tougher than La Liga, and there is no winter break to look forward to either.
However, should he struggle at any point, club legend Didier Drogba will likely step into the breach and provide some cover. Fans know what they’ll get from Drogba, though he is slightly older now, meaning that his contribution will be limited. One of the surprise moves of the Summer window saw the club bring in Loic Remy, who at one point looked to be heading for Liverpool. Remy’s pace will set him apart from the rest, and now that he will have a more creative force behind him his goal tally should rise, provided he gets regular games!

1. Manchester United
Who: Radamel Falcao, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie
With the arrival of Falcao, United now probably have the most fearsome front line in the Premier League. The Colombian has arrived to test himself at a higher level than Monaco are able to provide, and he will be expected to hit the ground running now that he is back to full fitness.
In Wayne Rooney, you know exactly what you’re going to get, though he may have now drop back into the hole to accommodate the former Atletico Madrid star. Van Persie, however, presents an interesting dilemma. His fitness issues were a problem last season, and he now faces another spell on the sidelines. When fit, he is devastating, but should he fall behind and watch Rooney and Falcao strike up a partnership, he may find himself struggling to get back into the side.
