Manchester United have received a major boost in its hunt for Juventus star Paul Pogba after his proposed move to Barcelona collapsed, according to reports.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a return to Old Trafford and it seems a deal could be back on the table after Barcelona baulked at his reported £210k-a-week wage demands, according to Metro.
United boss Louis van Gaal is reportedly desperate to sign the French international, but it remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old would be willing to return to Old Trafford after he was not considered good enough for senior football prior to his departure to Juventus in 2012.
Times have changed however, and Pogba has transformed himself into being one of the world’s best midfielders and the Serie A champions would be brave to turn down such a hefty transfer fee.
Pogba has scored 10 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions this season, helping Juventus to the Serie A table and a spot in next month’s Champions League final against Barcelona.
