“When I hear things like that, I don’t think about it. I hear them, but I’m totally at ease. I’m very happy at Barca and with my team-mates,” he told Spanish television station TV3.
“Barca fans have nothing to worry about.”
Sky Sports had previously reported that United had the wage structure and transfer funds in place to sign the 23-year-old this summer.
It came as rumours circulated about his future given that he is still waiting on a new contract offer from Barcelona, which in turn saw others suggest that it was merely a ploy to get the Catalan giants moving with discussions.
According to the British media last week, United were prepared to spend £240m to take Neymar to Old Trafford, but it appears as though the Brazilian international has no plans to leave the Nou Camp anytime soon.
