Super agent next to throw his hat into the ring for top football job.
Agent to the stars Mino Raiola is the latest name to declare an interest in running against Sepp Blatter for the FIFA presidency this year, the Daily Mirror reports.
The 47-year-old, who handles the affairs of both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli to name a few, wants to displace Blatter after claiming that the thought of him taking a fourth term makes him feel ill.
“I’m getting violently sick when I think that Blatter [could be] re-elected,” he said.
Rules of the election state that any candidate wishing to run must prove that they have been active in the game for two of the last five years as well as putting together costs of over €1m.
And it is the fund raising that Raiola admits could be an issue.
“But the money I have to spend on it [could be an issue].”
