Jurgen Klopp’s home debut as Liverpool manager didn’t get off to the best start.
The Reds fell behind to Rubin Kazan after 15 minutes when Ukrainian striker Marko Devic scored a stunning goal against the run of play.
Anfield had been rocking until Devic broke the deadlock, but the famous stadium fell pretty quiet as the net bulged.
Devic cheekily put his finger to his lips to taunt the home fans as he celebrated the goal.
Defeat for Liverpool tonight would leave the Reds in a bit of trouble in Europa League Group B, considering the were only able to draw their opening two matches.
However, a defeat now looks rather unlikely as Emre Can has since equalised, while Rubin have been reduced to 10 men – Oleg Kuzmin getting sent off for picking up two yellow cards.
